66-0377 along with 66-0291, 66-0294, and 66-0329 will be the fourth through the seventh old friend I will visit.   Because they are located is such close proximity to each other, it is uncertain which I will visit first.

AMARC (Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center) is where all the old aircraft go when they have used up their life. You can see their operation HERE. It seems sad to think that this old friend who served our country well and was admired by millions as it flew throughout the world, would end up in such a desolate situation. Perhaps it, too, will soon be restored in some park or museum for all to see and remember.  In the meantime, the people at AMARC do a fantastic job of caring for these heros of the past.

The colors you see are those of a test aircraft used for many purposes but not in the glory of the aircraft's prime mission.
