MY RIDE
I will be riding my Yamaha V-Star 1100a Classic motorcycle. I have ridden this bike for a little over 2 years and have driven it about 30,000 miles in that time. I took up riding in October 2002 by attending the Harley Davidson sponsored Rider's Edge Motorcycle Safety Course. After graduation and getting my license, I rented nearly every Harley they had to determine which I would like to buy. I then rode my V-Star...at that time owned by a friend... and was convinced it was the bike for me at that time. Fortunately, it was for sale, in excellent shape, loaded with extras, had a service agreement, extended warranty, and an excellent price. The rest is history.
The following are a few pictures of the bike and me:

This is the bike ready to go on the Mid-West Trip this past August. To see that trip click HERE. [Close the new window when finished to return here]

This bike has also gone on two trips to Big Bend National Park in Southwest Texas. See them HERE. [Close the new window when finished to return here]
This will be a great trip with many challenges and rewards. If you have a bike and are anywhere along my route, please feel free to join me!
